I just don't see an issue and the fact this thread is almost 10 years old now suggests not many others do either. I think you are just failing to see my point. I can release the note, and then drag it, but it would be nice if note position in time (left/right) and pitch (up/down) could be adjusted directly without letting go of the mouse button, for the very same reason velocity and note length can be adjusted this way when you draw in new notes. BTW I use an Ergodox EZ keyboard so the left and right halves are physically separated (in my case about 2 feet apart). I have two hands, but my left hand is on the left side of my keybaord, which means having to constantly jump between it's "home position" (ASDF keys) and the right side. If the Ctrl key does nothing when held down while drawing in a note with the mouse, why not use it to enable note position in the piano roll? I mean, it's totally available. Give it some time to get your head around and it will just become another mundane thing that gets things done. Or using one hand on the mouse and one on the keyboard you can make even faster work of the whole thing without having to resort to the hassle of right-click menus and the like.Īs someone who is accustomed to how it all works and has been a happy user for 10+ years now i'm not exactly convinced that Daw X does it "better", just different and I am sure if I started trying to do the same edits I would be just as frustrated it doesn't work exactly the same as Live. Pitch can be adjusted with mouse by just grabbing the note (click + hold) and moving it with the mouse. Not sure why you need to jump between mouse and keyboard when you have 2 hands (you do have 2 hands I assume)? I mean, Steve Jobs tried for a very long time to convince us that the mouse only needs one button, and failed. The reason other DAWs implement this is because it works well-no point pretending we can make a square wheel work for us when the round wheel is obviously better. Anyway, I agree keyboard shortcuts are great and use them myself, but when I'm drawing notes with the mouse, my right hand would have to constantly jump between the mouse and the arrow keys between it would be a lot easier to do it just with the mouse, if note pitch could be adjusted directly with the mouse. Sat 10:15 pmYou can adjust a notes pitch and position using just keyboard commands. Live does fast work using keyboard commands along with the mouse to edit MIDI so it probably just means you need some time to adjust and adapt. It can sometimes be a pain / inconvenience / game breaking experience when a feature from product X isn't in product Y but often it's just a slightly different approach than you are use to and takes some time to learn how it works and make it work for you. The only thing that you cannot do purely from the keyboard that I have found is to adjust velocity where you need to either click the actual velocity pin or hold ALT and then grab a note and drag up/down to adjust velocity. Hold CTRL + SHIFT and use the UP/DN arrows to select multiple notes Hold CTRL and use the UP/DN arrows to move the selection to another note Hold Shift+Alt to adjust length of selected notes with L/R arrows Hold ALT to move by small amounts without snapping If you select a note you can adjust pitch/position by simply using the arrow keys to move the selected note/s around the piano roll You can adjust a notes pitch and position using just keyboard commands. Right now none of the modifier keys do anything in this context, again, it seems wasteful. So yeah, maybe hold down Ctrl to do that. ATM only velocity and length can be adjusted. To add to my previous post, when drawing in notes using the double-click method, which is fine by me, it would be nice if at least there was a key combination to enable us to adjust also note pitch and position. I still enjoy ableton very much, but the FL draw mode is much better. The ableton draw mode is like putting training wheels on a bike and then removing some gears and making it harder to steer. It's just more fun and let's you be more creative and playful. Bam! You can also group stretch/shrink, and stretch the notes so much they cover other notes if you decide you want them spaced out more. IN FL you just draw whatever you want with click-hold, on different notes, draw a picture with the notes, freely, then you can hover over the velocity/panning sliders and draw right on top of that too. Click-hold vertical movement for velocity is not useful to me. With ableton when you click-hold you can only draw notes on the exact note you were hovering over when you clicked (horizontally). And, you can draw notes freely on the piano roll. Each note also has an individual pan slider much like it's velocity slider. Whatever you're pointing at, the pencil adjusts that. FL is WAY more intuitive and logical with the pencil/draw tool.

Workforce for ArcGIS is a platform designed for field work optimization. This transparent workflow enables efficient coordination, allowing Mobile Workers to report back to the office once they’ve completed a given assignment. Dispatchers create and assign work to Mobile Workers, who go into the field to complete the assigned work. With defined user roles, every team member has their designated role. Workforce for ArcGIS is a powerful coordination tool that streamlines field to office workflows. As such, the Point and Line Repair Status layers will automatically update with any edits to the NIFS, in addition to direct edits.Integrate Collector with Workforce | Create Assignments from the Field The Repair Status service is a Hosted View off the same data as the NIFS. At any time during the life cycle of a feature, it can have the RepairStatus and RepairComments fields updated. The Suppression Repair Workflow can be used in conjunction with either the Basic Workflow or the Approval Workflow to track the status of the suppression repair efforts on a fire. View Only Incident Web Map Template 2022. SITL Approver Web App 2022 Template Quick Links In addition to the web map template, there is now a SITL Approver App available that can be used by SITL’s in the NIFC Org to manage the Approval Status of incident features without the need to create additional content. Th ‘Approval’ part of the workflow gives the Situation Unit the ability to change the status of new features from the default “Proposed” to “In Review,” “Approved,” or “Archive.” The approver ( SITL) will work with Operations to change features from “Proposed” to “Approved.” Team members that have access to the Viewer Map cannot see any new features until they are “Approved” and a definition query can be used on incident maps to remove any non-approved features from display. This works best for large incidents with many field editors collecting data. The Approval Workflow should be used instead of the Basic Workflow if the team desires additional checks on and control over incoming features from mobile data collection. It is used to track and record suppression repair activities on an incident. The Suppression Repair Workflow can be used in conjunction with either the Basic or Approval Workflows. The Approval Workflow, which consists of three web maps, gives an ‘approver’ (usually the Situation Unit Leader ) the ability to approve every new feature before it becomes visible in the Viewer web map (and/or printed maps). The Approval Workflow and the Suppression Repair Workflow. There are two workflows that go beyond the out-of-the-box Basic Workflow. Quick and easy to implement, the Basic Workflow works best for smaller incidents or incidents with fewer field editors.Ī single web map is shared for use in Collector or Field Maps and all edits are reviewed and managed by the GISS.

This network is the first of its kind in the County and is intended to serve businesses and residents in areas traditionally underserved by incumbent broadband providers. Due to the specialized nature of this service, the County needs a highly-qualified firm to operate and manage the existing network, as well as assisting in developing the network based on the County's needs and resources. The fact that the network is "open-access" means that the network infrastructure (fiber, switching, towers, etc.) are owned by the County and multiple service providers will provide service utilizing this infrastructure. Two 1 1/4" conduits, and a 144 strand fiber optic cable will be installed along the route, with hand holes and splice enclosures installed so the County can construct drops to adjacent buildings. The approaching darkness would preclude a return trip before morning, and his aircraft was too badly damaged for the return trip, he volunteered to lead an additional section of aircraft to the rescue position. Major McCauley resolutely remained until the most critically wounded were loaded in his majorly damaged helicopter and flew to the nearest medical facility. He waited until the Viet Cong fire could be neutralized until he was advised to lift off and depart. During this attempt to rescue more disabled Marines, this aircraft was also damaged by an enemy hand grenade in the landing zone. He wanted to be able to continue his mission, so he obtained another helicopter. However, his aircraft was so severely damaged by an enemy hand grenade that it could not be used for the return trip. 5, 1966, Major McCauley successfully evacuated the critically wounded on two occasions. Of course, the story mode is single player only, which is a bit of a bummer. However, the fighting engine is remarkably solid, compared to lesser games like the Cavia-developed, Capcom-published Beatdown: Fists of Vengeance, released around the same time. Despite the lack of a jump button, it’s quite and snappy, just like the old games, with a bit of added depth and variety, including the ability to block and count. It does feel strange to be playing a Final Fight game where you spend more time running around and talking than beating people up. The story mode lets you walk around town, running mini-quests for people (such as chasing down muggers), train at the gym to earn new moves, earn money in pitfights, and follow the plotline. The finale pits you up against Father Bella, the younger brother of Belgar from the original Final Fight. After enlisting the help of Haggar (who’s quit his job as mayor and started up his own gym) and Guy (who’s now an honorable gang leader in the city’s Japantown district), you have to untangle the mystery and save your brother. However, Cody gets kidnapped due to his association with some strange zombifying drug called GLOW that’s hitting the streets. The story starts with Kyle Travers training underneath his brother Cody. Sometimes these doppelgangers are natural ones, and other times they have a bit of science and surgery to help them achieve their looks. You also have the doppelgangers who impersonated another, as with Natalie Marlowe and Janet “from another planet” Green on All My Children, and Hattie Adams and Marlena Evans on Days of our Lives. Then there are those jealous of their twin, as with Marley Love and Vicky Hudson on Another World, who were often fighting over a man. Depending on your layout and version of Windows, various sequences of Tab and arrow keys move you through all the elements of the taskbar. This leaves the taskbar with focus (meaning it is the active program and keystrokes impact it). Try this: press CTRL+ESC to bring up the Start menu. But most people don’t realize that the Start menu and taskbar have a keyboard interface as well. Most people realize CTRL+ESC is equivalent to pressing the Start menu. To resize your window (again, only if your window is visible and not maximized), hit ALT+spacebar, type S for size, hit an arrow key that points to the edge of the window that you want to adjust, and then use that arrow key and its opposite to move that edge. You can move your window almost completely off the screen this way. To move, as we did above, (which only works if your window is visible and not maximized), hit ALT+spacebar, type M for move, and then use the arrow keys to move the window around. Using it, you can minimize, maximize, and restore your window, but you can also move and resize it. Thank you to all the Trello users out there who have helped make Trello what it is today. We will continue operating as a standalone service, and we will continue to integrate deeply with all of the tools available out there that help people collaborate (and you can look forward to some great integrations with HipChat, Confluence and JIRA). We’re as committed to our original vision and brand as we were on launch day but we now have more firepower to fulfill that mission. In short: you can expect Trello to become even more awesome and more fun than it is today. We are certain that Atlassian understands the unique and novel reasons why Trello is so successful and well-loved. Our team will be able to focus on improving the core experience of Trello for all users. As part of Atlassian, Trello will be able to leverage investments in R&D that will enhance the product in meaningful ways. We envision a world where hundreds of millions of people collaborate in teams however they like, with their imaginations being the only constraint for what they can accomplish. We’re excited about partnering with Atlassian because we both share a philosophy of empowering teams everywhere to work in their own style. We’ve been humbled and excited to see the millions of use cases for Trello around the world, and we build the product each day proudly knowing we’re helping teams do great things. Organizations like the United Nations and the Red Cross rely on Trello to accomplish their missions. Companies like Google, National Geographic, and even the United Kingdom’s government use Trello daily. More than 19 million users later, Trello is used by everyone from the family planning their next vacation to employees at the largest enterprises in the world. Our dream was that someday we could have 100 million people using Trello to work together. We wanted Trello to be fluid and adaptable to a huge range of problems that all revolved around getting people on the same page. We wanted people to get started quickly and not get bogged down in structure. Our small idea was to take the paradigm of a sticky note on a wall and turn it into a tool that allowed people to collaborate in real time. In the business world, the culture of teamwork began to change from face time and meetings to the rise of digital collaboration tools that let teammates collaborate anywhere, anytime. People expected the tools they use at work to be as fun and easy to use as those in their personal lives. Smartphones began to change the way we connected and how we communicated with each other. At the time, the way people work was starting to shift. We launched Trello five years ago at the TechCrunch Disrupt conference in San Francisco. Today we’re excited to announce a new chapter in Trello’s story, and a new chapter for the story of the future of work. |
